12/31/07 DJJ Secretary McNeil: What do others think? We're about one year into the administration of "Diploma Mill" McNeil. Based on what we've seen to this point, it appears that our secretary is definetely more the "monkey" than the "organ grinder". Chief McNeil,all those smiling faces around you are not laughing with you. You had better open your eyes and check out those that have been placed close around you. Snide comments behind your back and rolling eyes really tell the story. ~Insider
12/30/07 DJJ Policy: Just a thought: If there is any sincerity in the most recent talk of reform at DJJ; Why not start with simple steps like putting a stop to the routine personal use (misuse) of state vehicles,work time, travel expenses and even office supplies and equipment? Corruption is corruption, start at the bottom. Long-established practices of inept oversight of contracts and programs, secrecy and cover-ups and the presence of so many self-serving career bureaucrats... ~State Employee

12/29/07 DJJ Secretary McNeil: As a proud alum of Harvard College and School of Taxidermy located in downtown Hog Waller West virginia, I congratulate Walter McNeil on his noteworthy academic credentials from the prestigeious St.Johns University located at the post office somewhere in Louisiana. With such high academic standards and professional credibility it is easy to understand why DJJ is in such an "excellent" condition. ~Kudos for Academic Excellence
12/29/07 DJJ Policy: So long as Shari Turner goes undisciplined for her failure to ensure the transfer of important medical (and risk factor) information, we will know that nothing has changed at DJJ. Canned data, phoney public (Blurprint) spectacles and in-house evaluations/investigations can not deceive the public or the legislature forever. I agree with "Outraged" " Come Clean Walt or Get Out! ~Parent
12/28/07 DJJ Policy: J4K should be commended for recommending "independent oversight" for DJJ residential programs. We have observed the theft, abuse,fraud and tragic death that has resulted from DJJ's incompetent and corrupt monitoring and oversight of facilities and programs. Does anyone actually think people like Sexy Rexy, Fat Fred,and No-Job Davis or Sell-Out Criswell will protect the welfare of at-risk youth? Not bloody likely! Count me in as another J4K fan that calls for Secreatary McNeil to "Come Clean or Get Lost". ~J4K Fan

A recent posting noted that every message that comes from DJJ has been crafted,manipulated and vetted by the inner circle spin-masters in Tallahassee. Apparently the latest DJJ PR promotion called for local "Department Mouthpieces" to get some exposure by making an "invitation" to attend the DJJ councils. In reality the last thing the DJJ hierichy want is the participation of independent,inquisitive tax-payers... ~Tax Payer

12/27/07 DJJ Policy: Clean water can not flow from a tainted spring ; nor can sweet fragrance waft from a squalid cess pool. Truth rarely exists in the noble words of deceivers nor virtue in the loins of a harlot. Honest reform,professional ethics and transparent acountability will never exist in a Department staffed so heavily with career miscreants, liars and thieves. Many may scoff at the postings found on this board but most know that DJJ is hopelessly corrupt. Truth is truth in spite of spin,false data,and systematic secrecy. ~Parent
12/26/07 Other: Boot Camps in Florida took the fall for the failure of DJJ to effectively monitor residential programs in the state. Most of the families and youth that have experienced a relationship with the Boot Camps ,speak favorably of the experience and of the results. That certainly can not be said about the majority of DJJ contracted programs. Most of the families and youth that have experienced a relationship with the Boot Camps ,speak favorably of the experience and of the results. That certainly can not be said about the majority of DJJ contracted programs. Unfortunetely the boot camps were an easy whipping boy for the politicians and bureaucrats after the death in Bay County. Previous DJJ deaths at JDCs and contracted provider sites did not solicit such political frenzy; perhaps the lobbyists can be credited with that. As for the STAR programs, they were an expensive watered-down farce from the beginning. Bring back the Sheriff's Boot Camps and dump the Corrupt enablers at DJJ. ~Former Boot Camp staff

12/22/07 DJJ Secretary McNeil: It will become increasingly obvious whether Walt McNeil is the "Organ Grinder" or if he is the "monkey". If he continues to allow long-established career parasites and incompetent DJJ/HRS hold-overs to hold nearly every key position in the Department;we will know for certain that he is nothing more than a token and a prop. If he will take a stand for true reform and postive change at DJJ by kicking some sorry asses to the curb;we will know that he is a man of honor and courage. 12/21/07 Other DJJ facility: Has Shari Turner (or any top DJJ official) ever given a reason that she failed to ensure the provision ,to programs, the full and complete medical information necessary to safely deal with inmate youth? Even after the death of the Anderson boy, many youth are held in contracted DJJ facilities that have not been provided information related to individual health alerts or risks. Must there be additional deaths before DJJ replaces Turner with a more competent and reliable medical officer? ~DJJ Facility Provider
12/18/07 DJJ Policy: Don't expect the so-called "leadership" in the state or regional offices to take any action to deal with the theft and abuse of time,travel expenses,vehicle use,buddy buddy in-house promotions and other corrupt,self-serving practices. Long-time HRS/DJJ career parasites are the worst offenders. Check out the Residential Division officials for an example of a cess-pool organizational structure (scum rising to the top). ~Anonymous

A lot of the comments read here seem to focus on DJJ staff that are involved in 'stealing', 'acting inappropriate', 'looking the other way', 'allowing abuse to occur' and on and on.....
After working diligently for several years with DJJ and working in several of the 'branches', 'silos', 'bureaus', Regions, whatever and after reading this BB for most of the time it has been in existence, I would like to offer the following opinion regarding Residential Commitment:
1) The State legislature needs to appropriate enough money to this 'branch', 'silo', whatever in order to ensure that there is sufficient oversight in ALL of the programs.
2) The Department doesn't need to create additional 'units', Offices', to ensure proper oversight just fund the group of (for the most part) dedicated, ethical staff that are already doing 'the work', the RESIDENTIAL MONITORS.
3) There should be enough auditors/monitors/ hired and assigned so that each has time to be in their program at least twice per month. This should be regardless of QA scores, number of beds, or any other formula..........ACCROSS THE BOARD.
4) There should also be enough Supervisory staff to provide support,expertice, coaching, ...those activities that encourage, confirm and/or verify that the contractual obligations are being met.

12/16/07 Charlie Crist: Governor Crist, Just Curious...Can any DJJ employee deny that they have observed dishonest use of work time,sick time,vacation time and travel expenses and/or improper relationships at DJJ? The higher up you go in the Department the more abuse of state resources occur. Just allow staff to speak out under a guarantee of no retribution or job sanctions. Dear Pasco Staffer, Hum I have to say I differ from what you posted saying that there are lazy dope supervisors at Pasco, My encounter with the supervisors are all positive, Each and every supervisor here at Pasco goes above and beyond to ensure the safe and secure enviroment for the youth in our care, by training us and making sure we follow the proper procedure. And to answer your question I am not a supervisor, I am the one officer that has had your back on several occassions when ya needed a officer to be there and backed you up. I just do my job better then you because I learned and utilized what the great supervisors taught me. And second talking about self praise Hum lets see if you were to do your homework you would know what officer is writing this it's the one that is very good at what he does and proved it. and I will agree with you there are good officers at Pasco there. Each and everyone there at Pasco is good including the supervisors. So here is my message to you. if you Take all the negitive input you have posted and put it into a positve way toward providing a safe and secure enviroment for the youth in our care, Pasco would be a better place. We need a new board called "Justice4Taxpayers" just to deal with the personal use and misuse by DJJ officials of state time, state vehicles,state equipment/supplies, state travel and state bugetary/contracting actions. Part 2 , The following is my view or knowledge , some informed , some not ! Many question are asked surrounding the deaths of the many , children with in the system That have been killed or died in the name of justice …..Lately more so in the, Martin l Anderson death / murder. General Questions and My thought’s ( Answer’s ) .
Continued ...(Q , 1 ) Was the nursing staff informed of Martins medical conditions , Which then should have informed staff of any and all exciting problems , By any member of his family or community knowledgeable persons involved ? ( A) While I find it hard to see if the parents were either caring or involved , I can clearly see the grand mother ! Has and Had displayed a loving heart that only wished to insure her grandsons understanding of right and wrong …. In my heart I see this Woman giving any and all information to those involved to insure the best of care and guidance for her grandsons future !
(Q,2a) Where the Nursing staff informed of any and ALL medical problems Daniel had, prior to his Murder/death ?(2B) Did the Nursing staff take the information with professionalism , accuracy to the best of their ability , Then pass this information to Staff in charge?
(A , a ) Yes , I Diana Matthews with brother inlaw Al sat in the waiting / Intake area, Just in front of master control to speak with a Nurse from 8 am to approximately 3pm Made three more calls to Nursing after to get and give proper help and information ! ( b) NO !…Nursing response was to , NOT write down the medical history Or nutritional requirements .But inform me that PCDJJ was not the Marriot Hotel and in fact a jail ! It was not until the third call a Nurse then repeated some of the information I had given her …On fourth and fifth calls to be told Mrs Matthews Daniels records are up to date We will contacted you in the doctor needs any future information’s …Later to be found in Reports ,Depositions’ That my son Daniel had a sugar problem that could stop his heart ! Leaving out a much needed medical history .Also giving the hospital false or inaccurate information to his needs and or allergy’s .Since the Medical history had not been transferred to the hospital via myself or husband , Due to our not having the knowledge our son had been harmed , transferred or dieing !!! ONLY, The department could have given the in accurate medical information on record !
(Q,3a ) Did the Nurse that day of Martins death , perform her duties to insure Martin’s health , safety and welfare or Inform any or all involved with Martin of any difficulties he may have been displaying with the professionalism of a licensed Nurse , with a PT in her charge ? 3,b) Did said Nurse fail the staff by not checking Martins condition in a timely manor in response to his demeanor or appearance ?
(A,a) NO! .But this you all can see clearly for your self ! (A,b) YES ! It is any Nurses , or Nurses Aid , Care givers ,Responsibility to prevent and report suspect or on going abuses endangering the safety of their charge ..Or any human life !!! Regardless of authorities involved !
( My Q ) Should a prior medical history , Matter in a case of physical abuse , beating or murder have any baring to the death … of said child ?

Weather Daniel had a sugar problem or not , Would not have contributed to a Uncertified , Unlawfully employed personal , By DJJ ……to open a cell two hours after lock down ! Nor would it contribute too blunt trauma to the head or brain causing internal hemorage .. Nor would it contribute to those administering CPR , To place the mask on upside down and or backward , blocking Daniels air ways . Or to fail in calling for help or sounding a code blue , white what ever ! Further more it WOULD have no baring on the amount of force used on Martin l Anderson to comply with the instructions of Seven Guards … Had staff or the guards been informed Martin had sickle cell traits , More so the African American Guards , Would they have treated Martin more delicately ? Really Now !! Statement / Q …. I have been ACT’S and Teams trained to handle the criminally insane , Requiring restraint …Can ANY Honestly State that excessive force was not used in the case of Martin L Anderson ? Do Not bother to tell me there had not been , For you would only show your true colors !!!
(Q 4 ) Did Tallahassee…and Governor , have prior knowledge of the failings , corruption , forced over time , understaffing , in abdicate medical or rehabilitation programming in placement , abuses , sexual complaints and or misconduct , Prior to the deaths of Shawn , Willie , Daniel , Omar , Martin , Anthony and so many more abused…
(A) Most Certainly!!! Justice4kids alone has documented letters to The Governor and DJJ administration on this sight alone dating back to 2001 …. From concerned staff and employees of DJJ and or JDC …..
(Q,5) The following questions and answer’s may pertain to laws a crossed the USA ..and the differences , Between the US and the department of Juvenile Justice !!! (1) Is it customary to clean up a crime scène of all evidence , prior to police arrival or involvement ? (a) Across the USA , This is called tampering with evidence Such persons doing so can be charged with a crime …Yet on 5-31-03 To the best of my knowledge , Senior Officer Callaway , instructed Offer Hull to clean up the Blood and cell room of son , Daniel J Matthews , Not only prior to Officer arrival , But the EMT also had missed crucial information showing Daniel had been in fact bleeding . To the best of my Knowledge Officers Callaway and Bradley as of 200 6 still maintain there employment at DJJ , Officer Hull feels he was fired due to being the only African American male staffer involved ..Also the department needing a scape goat to cover the truth , While satisfying the public after the 10 /09/03 Clearwater Collage legislative meeting .To some degree I must agree with him .. While he made mistakes in getting emergency care for Danny .I do not see where he had been the one responsible for Daniels death ….Though I have my dough to the real events due to him …..Being the only Officer in the room with Daniel for some time prior to getting or receiving help .. (2) To take photo’s of a child /or a hanging child , prior to releasing him or getting help ? (A) In cases such as Anthony Dumas , While the equipment to record the events of children , abuses , neglect .Go missing , Work improperly , where not turned on or out of date ……..There are Polaroid cameras to take pictures , for sexual misconduct , or Rather then getting the child down , Anthony went onto a coma to die 4 months later . (3) To have a uncertified person , continue working with children thou he or she has clearly failed certification on several occasions , In direct violation of department policies …? (A) Supervising Officer Maureen Honan , To my knowledge enjoys a higher state position and pay check in Tallahassee , After reported abuses and death of Daniel . Maureen Honan was directly responsible for the training , certification , employment of guards …..Maureen Honan Knowingly allowed Elswick to continue employment well after failure of certification on more then one occasion and complaints by other staff members of Elswick’s failing performance and professionalism .. Why was the trainee (Elswick), who open the doors of the youths involved in the fight, allowed to work the floor that night. He had failed the State Officers Certification exam twice. He was uncertified. The facility Trainer, not the FTO, was aware of this, but allowed him to work the floor, leading to the incident. He was soon dismissed after the incident to cover up the facts. All of administration was aware of this, yet he was allowed to continue to work the floor uncertified. Why? (My answer ) , Due to under staffing and dereliction of duties ,Following procedure and protocol By Supervising Officer Maureen Honan and Senior Officer Bradley , Senior Officer Callway assigning , Elswick to Echo mod ) Wouldn't that make the facility Trainer liable? ( A) Yes , Maureen Honan ) 2. What took so long for the initial 911 call to be made? 3. (A) Officer Hull while trying to get a response from Daniel .Told Elswick to radio for help .Elswick decided this was not in his job duties and walked to the other wing to get Senior Officer Bradley …..Upon Officer Bardley’s arrival .Danny worsened …( was no longer responsive ) ….Officer Hull then using his radio called directly to Night shift Supervisor Esv, I believe it May be Ses I will correct this , ASAP …..With this She had just signed in at 9.30 and Asked at Master control how the night was to be informed all was well…Once in her office she receives a call there is a problem in ECHO mod .But no explanation, She then walks back there .After seeing Danny She turns and runs for the phone calling for 911 …But can give no details for she had not even been told what happen or Danny condition ( If he was breathing ) …By this point , Elswick , Seska , Washington , Calaway , Bradley , Hull Plus one or two more that went for dinner or smoke break were all involved none C ALLED 911 .Acording to depo.s this happen at 9.30 to 9.45 …Yet 911 was not called until 10.10 pm)
4. Why didn't more staff respond? (A) Same reasons as above procedure was not followed ! Master control was not informed )
5. Why were all the youth still up past the scheduled bedtime? ( A ) They weren’t , Level Three where just being released back to their rooms from class at 9.30pm , By officer Hull , Level two and one had already been locked down for the night , Other then Elswick opening LL door to get a drink . ( Room 16 ) and another child to make a phone call , Again in direct violation of policy , One Elswick had no authority to open and door or interact with the youth ( He was kind a like a aid ) 2 at least two Cerified officers must be present to open a door .Hull was in the class room , Bradley down the adjoining wing ..Elswick at the control panel where he was told to sit and touch nothing do nothing ! 6. Why was an Intake staff on the floor, that's not their unit? (A) haven’t come across who this may be but good question , UNDERSTAFFING !

( A ) They had never been given any information to the situation at hand……Leaving EMT to believe it was a routine medical call , None traumatic , EMT had been left uninformed until they finally arrived at the room ( 14 ) and accessed the situation them self … 8. Why, if it was common knowledge that the 2 youths were having problems for 2 days, wasn't one youth moved to another Mod, hence preventing the fight? (A) To my knowledge , After Danny approached Offier Bradley of his fears , Bradley spoke with LL , ending it at that and not finding reason to inform the staff of any problems…Further ignoring Daniels request for help ! The only reason I can think of why staff Elswick was on the floor was the lack of staff we already have. The high turnover rate and the lack of staff support, the "take everything personal" attitude of management, the "clicks", the "out to get you" attitude of administration, leads to a 60-40 ratio among veterans and rookies, in favor of the rookies. Well, an uncertified rookie made a big mistake, the results are obvious. When a code blue was called why didn't all staff hear it? Why was the radio signal not heard, why wasn't an "all call" sounded over the PA by master control? First, the radios were old and out dated. We had been complaining for months — funny thing, we got new ones the following week. Next, no staff heard an "all call" from master control because another rookie was in that unit that night and didn't know how to respond; this was due to lack of training. All these blunders are due to the management, not the floor staff. Staff are thrown into forest fires with squirt guns for tools and not even shown how to use the squirt gun. Staff are thrown into positions and units with no knowledge of what to do, but don't make a mistake because it's your ass. Administration management is well aware of this and chose to ignore staffs complaints, this is vicarious liability. They say s_ _t rolls down hill; well, for once, let's push it up hill. ~Anonymous Unanswered questions (Q5) Why is it that the sheriffs department . officers did not arrive at PCDJJ until well after midnight , When it is well know knowledge any where in ST Peters burg or across the Bay area ….Officers are the first to respond to any and all calls ..Then they call for a ambulance , Also since the problem had started at around 9.30 thou a call to 911 was not made until 10:10 (Q6) Why since the EMT’S Arrived at 10:20 gotten to Danny at 10 :23 had him in the ambulance by 10:25 had they not rushed to the hospital , had in taken them until 10:55 to arrive at the Hospital 7 minutes away from PCDJJ DOES ANY OF IT REALLY MATTER !!!!!!!!

Hey if you can train and screen someone to be a guard with a criminal record you sure as heck can screen parents for the potential ability to proved aid to Juvenile guards while there child is incarcerated , help strengthen family unity .Stop sending children into programs clear across the state keeping them separated from family involvement …..Start enforcing Children and family to due their job and investigate why a child is failing with in the home or neighbor hood .It maybe the family is at fault it may just be the child ……But investigate the TRUTH !! It would appear that the answer to these questions would be a top concern of the "Blueprint Commission" as well as the governor and the attorney general. The same questions could also be asked in reference to the numerous other deaths that have occurred within the secretive enclaves of Florida's infamous DJJ establishment.

Because this supervisor and other supervisors took the time to work with me and showed me how it is done right. Poor Fred's success with the ladies as well as his over-all intelligence and ability is extremely limited but his enthusiatic pursuit of female attention has been noteworthy ( as well as quite humorous) at times. Fred has also demonstrated exemplary skills in the areas of brown-nosing those with influence and bullying those he can manipulate or intimidate. 11/16/07 Collier JDC: Stealing from the kids is a frequent offense at DJJ facilities and certainly not a new activity. Thousands in property and money was stolen at Dade without a single arrest or even an honest and serious investigation. The theft of underware from the girls at Collier ,however, is truly remarkable. The disgustingly low standards of ethics among many of the people that have charge over at-risk youth in Florida is shocking. ~Outraged

11/14/07 DJJ Policy: In the finest traditions of Arnold and Lorenzo (former DJJ designated liars) the current department spinner Kevin Cate recently announced that after the death of Martin Anderson DJJ is "reviewing to make sure that policies and procedures are current and clear". Hey Kevin,they are a little late with the review;the kid is dead. Proper oversight and responsible provision of medical records would have probably prevented the Bay County tragedy. A review of the failure of high-level DJJ officials to perform their duties would be more appropriate. 11/11/07 Boot Camps: If the staff at the Bay County Boot Camp had been aware of the medical risk posed by Martin Anderson's underlying Sickle cell trait it is quite possible that the boy would be alive today. As DJJ,s medical "expert" Dr. Turner should have established procedures to prevent such tragic circumstances. She should have been prosecuted or at least fired for this gross derilection of duty. 11/09/07 DJJ Policy: Cathy Corry and J4K should be commemded on the request for independent outside oversight of DJJ facilities. It has been repeatedly demonstrated that DJJ is incapable of honest and effective self-monitoring. I do not always agree with Mrs. Corry or with the postings on J4K. I still think the closing of most or our Boot Camps was a very bad loss for the safety and security of our state and for the remediation of out-of-control kids. Better DJJ oversight would probably have prevented the Bay county Boot Camp death. On the issue of needed improvements in the oversight of DJJ operations , Cathy has it exactly right. 11/08/07 DJJ Policy: By preventing DJJ employees and parents from addressing the commission with negative reports; DJJ has tainted the entire "Blueprint" process. The activity was suspect from the beginning. Now that DJJ officials have been caught discouraging open reporting the process has been completely invalidated. Suggestions that DJJ staff be provided either annonymity or written protection from retribution or punitive job action were ignored. Hopefully our state leaders will ignore any reports that are generated from this corrupted process. ~Orlando

11/05/07 Other DJJ facility: Blue Print commission: Why was notices not sent out to the public in time for the public to attend these so called blue print commission's meetings? I wonder why! It is very possible that Martin Lee would be alive today if this high-paid (so-called doctor) bureaucrat had done her job. The Bay County staff were not provided critical medical information. The resulting death of Anderson must ,in part, be laid at the feet of Turner and the DJJ monitors that failed to provide oversight. 10/25/07 DJJ Policy: To the "Commission", If possible, check out the salaries of the do-little DJJ officials in the over-staffed state and regional offices (Davis,Eggers,Etc)then observe what they actually do (not what they say). Check out the unreported time-off taken by Department staff. You will find that DJJ administration is a damn good gig,if you can get it. 10/22/07 Other: I was distressed to see the name of Greg Chinault included in a recent posting on this site. I had thought this sleazy character had been fired years back for questionable deals,bid-rigging and dishonest management practices. Looks like he still holds a big state position in the Detention Division. That could explain some of the problems in the central region. 10/21/07 Other: Welfare, low test scores/school failure,dropouts,crime,and teen pregnancies are all associated closly with chldren growing up in one-parent or no-parent environments. Without a married(to each other} mother and father,I would never have survived the mess I made of my teen years. I am now a successful professional state employee and I am a proud African American. Rex Uberman is a Dem who was let go 10 yrs ago for an inappropriate relationship with a subordinate (married, much, much younger) female staff member). Pifer was no less than the 4th choice for Detention Asst Sec.(everyone else turned Schembri down cold, go figure?) He is Chervanik's best buddy from Penn, better yet Pifer brought his incompetent buddies Cantrell, and Mullis with him From DeSoto (have you ever been to that train wreck, or seen their QA scores, or CCC history?), as Regional Directors no less, in Detention,(collusion and corruption at its finest baby), and Pifer created a position for his best buddy, and former neighbor at DeSoto, Larry O'Steen, as do nothing Maintenance Supervisor for all Det Svcs. 10/18/07 Other DJJ facility: The Polk City DJJ facility has been a disgrace from the beginning. After years of poor management, abuse,escapes,contraband of all descriptions, disgusting sexual activities,leaking/flooding and mold contamination, it would be wonderful to see this corrupt institution come to an end. The recently renovated areas of the facility could be used to relieve over-crowding at Polk Correctional or for the Sheriffs Office. 10/17/07 Bay JDC: The Bay County officers and nurse were guilty of being poorly trained,poorly managed, overzealous,and apparently not too bright ; nothing more. The real guilt in the Bay County crime lies with a state agency that failed to provide oversight,complete medical records or to follow-up on reported problems. Also at fault was a disrupted "family" that failed to provide proper upbringing to an out-of-control youth (without a father) but were quick to seek a financial windfall after his death. We did not always make the mark in all areas and were made to rectify the issues which we worked very hard at doing. QA was a very stressful time. There is a lot of standards that need to be followed and I know from personal experience that I as well as many others took great pride in our work and cared greatly for our boys. There is no perfect facility anywhere. People make mistakes. We worked hard to make a good program that helped our youth and we tool pride in what we accomplished. I worked with a great bunch of people (there is always a few bad apples) but we tried to weed them out and we were held accountable by our directors and administrators to work by the DJJ standards and Three Springs policies. Three Springs is a great company that cares for its kids. I enjoyed everyday of my employment with them. I believe in their mission. I cannot believe the recent aquittals of the 8 individuals who blatenly abused Martin Lee Anderson! I am embarrased to call myself a fellow nurse with the nurse (term used very very losely) of the Panama City Boot Camp. They should have all been found guilty! I worked with young offenders and would have never ever thought to allow that type of treatment to take place infront of me and would have been screaming from the roof tops... ~Lori

When the Commission studies the reasons for the "disproportionate" representation of Black kids in state custody they may find it helpful to try this technique. Walk alone at night through the Black sections of Liberty City,South St.Pete,Tampa or any other of our large cities. If you survive...you will get the picture. Kids raised without fathers on the mean streets are likely to become residents of state facilities. Forget all the excuses and racial posturing. He is indeed good for Orange Detention. I can't beleive all the tail kissing that is going on at Orange Detention. It is truly unbelievable to know that in order to get any "special acknowledgement" here at this detention center you first have to have kissed tail to get it. Now, I respect and admire the improvements that Superintendent Lonton has made and continues to make. He is indeed good for Orange Detention. However, unlike ADS Butler who seems to have his own agenda for being a "kiss ass" you don't see anyone else with their heads so far up the tail end of Lonton, Butler can tell you what Lonton had for dinner two weeks ago. At the town hall meeting, what other ADS gave Lonton as much praise as Butler? Every oppurtunity he gets, Butler is singing the praises of the "Almighty Lonton". Like I said before I don't doubt that Lonton is good at what he does, but honestly Butler doesn't need to be so bold with his need to be a permanent "kiss ass". Following close to the tail end of Butler and also planting kisess on his deriere are the newly appointed lead Lt. Hill and Sgt. Cpl. B. Wood. I have seen Hill go from a Cpl to a Sgt., and now a Lt. Hill has always been Butler's right hand woman. My guess is she is aiming for a spot next to Butler as an ADS. Also , can anyone tell me how Hill got the Lt. position when she has not been here as long as other supervisors such as Guilford, Stephens or Holmes? As for Wood, will someone please make his tabacco chewing/spitting behind stay on the mod and actually do some work. Oh, my bad, I forgot he doesn't know how or is he too busy kissing tail again. Anyway, I am just saying simply that it is not fair how some supervisors and administrators have their favorites and such, and I just feel it needs to stop. If Orange Detion is a family and a team, maybe you should realize there are no favorites on a team or in a family. None of your team mebers want to make any advancements here at Orange Detention because they see how the current administrators and supervisors behave and work with their own officers. DJJ was told to cut budgets this year and the first thing they cut was the services for children. Dr. Turner added 50 new positions to her kingdom she is building. Sexy Rexy is trying to put providers out of business so he can run programs but the only problem is he don't know how to run programs. He and Eckerd are in bed together. Jeff Lonton really tries to keep an eye on the sorry-ass supervisors and he hasn't impregnated any of the staff (like the old help-humper Williams did).
