I already said before I was is the contest. But I was not fired!!!! I was not fondled or fondled anyone, I agree that I was in the contest but some of the things that are said are inappropriate. As far as the allegations that I made pertaining to the other officers you all need to watch the videos more. I DO NOT want my name used at all. I have family that work there. As far as the com ons by supers there is one on the 3-11 That is married and he tends to come on to all new employees. Hopefully if you ask some of the new females they will tell you who.... The drug allegations was from someone you already investigated and found it false. So that should not be hard for you to find out. I think he is still employeed and from what I heard (which in most cases has shown to be true) he was selling outside the facility take drug test randomly like you all should be anyway.... The female officer that allowed and promoted lesbian relations in the same room Is an officer on the 11-7 shift. Her name is Richard. The officer that is never ever where she should be is the one dating another officer on the 3-11 shift and they tend to be together alot... She has left post not even really showing herself until the end to the officers on post anyways. you cant tell me that it is not known by the supers that this is going on because they know.... I know working there that these things and more go on in this facility and you guys are worried about the effects a wet t shirt contest has on the youth think about the other things that are actually in front of them.... As far as the racism it is SOOOO Obvious it is sickening All you have to do is ask any white officers I would hope for the better of DJJ they would tell you.. And all you have to do is read the justice 4 kids site and you will see for yourself. But again I personally think this is and all the other things are unfortunatly already known by DJJ but I do not think anything will ever improve. I am a hard worker and a very dedicated employee and always have been. I don't quit jobs infact I am back where I was for 10 years because I am a good employee. I just did not fit into that kind of click. Also my family ment more to me to see everyday. Thank you for listening I hope things do get better there. It is sad to see good employees quit because of the treatment by the other staff. It is an ongoing saying at DJJ you do not quit because of the youth, you quit because of Staff. And that is why in the end I quit. Hayes

Please investigate the following alleged DJJ staff violations at Volusia JDC, articulated by former Volusia JDC JDO Sharon Hayes (shayes004@cfl.rr.com) in her email to me on 10/04/08 (below):
> racial discrimination / favoritism. > officers giving drugs, money and other favors to kids.
> lesbian officers allowing the girls to do things knowing what they are doing and even encouraging the behavior.
> officers sitting out of camera view to have there hair done by the kids and even sleep while they are on post.
> officers leaving during work hours and not being seen for hours on company time.
> officers that are married and supers that are also married sleeping with or trying to sleep with every new hire.
> officers selling drugs as a secondary job to the youth in custody.

I am not that dumb to tell people that I did not even know. So that must mean that the employees of the state also participate in the cabbage patch any one that goes there is going there for things like that. So you might want to see why if it is not alowwed for us to enter why are they alowwed to go and watch and participate themselves. You people need to worry about the things that go on in the DJJ department before you worry so much about stuff that hapend when I don't even work there anymore. You have officers giving drugs, money and other favors to those kids. You have lesbian officers allowing the girls to do things knowing what they are doing and even encouraging the behavior. You have the officers sitting out of camera view to have there hair done by the kids and even sleep while they are on post. You also have officers leaving during work hours and not being seen for hours on company time. And I will keep going, you have officers that are married and supers that are also married sleeping with or trying to sleep with every new hire you get in there. You have so much favortism in there it makes it hard for any new employee to fit in. Again you all need to stop worring about an outside activity the has no children even remotly involved and worry about who is giving drugs or better yet selling drugs as a secondary job to the youth in your custody. There was a youth in there that made the comment about one of the officers they knew on the outside that sold drugs. I don't think the kid was making it up to be an ass. But nothing was founded, what because the officer said so STUPID. I would appreciate if you take that stuff down pertaining to me. If is a true point leave it if it is necassary if not talke it off there is no point in it.. Sharon Hayes
