DJJ Central Communications Center

  Purpose*

The Central Communications Center provides a service to DJJ, Provider, and Grant facilities, programs and sites in maintaining a safe environment for the treatment, care, and provision of services to juveniles.

The Central Communications Center's activities will be conducted in a user friendly manner, with an emphasis on assisting DJJ, Provider, and Grant staff in the relay of information related to the care, safety, and humane treatment of all juveniles served by DJJ, Providers, or Grantees.

The Central Communications Center's Duty Officers are responsible for receiving, logging and transmitting incident information called into the center.

Hours of Operation:

The CCC will be in operation twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week, including holidays.

When calling in an incident, a caller will be expected to provide basic information at the time of report, which will include:
